It's the most wonderful time....

What a great holiday we had this year. I had the past week and a half off from work so that just sweetened the whole holiday pot. This is a picture of my three great kids watching a movie in their grandfathers(my father) home theater. That's my half nekkid foot in the bottom corner. I had a lot of trouble uploading pics to this site yesterday so I missed the HNT. FUCK!!!! Anyway that theater kicks ass. Complete with lobby and projection booth for 16mm films and a sound system that fucking rocks. I have yet to hear one equal to it's power and clarity. My Dad really did it right. We spent Christmas with my in-laws and on the Monday after took the five and a half hour ride up to Portland Maine to visit with my folks. Maine is great. I really miss living there. Here is a view from my parents back door. They put out deer feed and the deer come to eat in big groups. There will be as many as ten there eating.
Anyway, back to the theater. He has a lobby with a popcorn machine and a nacho machine and shelves full of DVD's covering nearly every available wall. He has a few lighted poster boxes that really look nice. I'm thinking about taking all my friends up there for a long weekend to watch the superbowl down there. That would be a blast. Today I'm back at work and totally ready for the weekend. I need another vacation. We have a long weekend coming up mid February without the kids at some Ski cabins. We try to do that every year but haven't been able to swing it the past couple. A bunch of us go and rent these cabins and do very little skiing. It's mostly drinking and playing cards and partying. I can't wait. Well I need to get back to work. Happy Friday and a belated Happy HNT.
